Registration is now open for the 2018 World Cancer Congress

20 November 2017

Join us in Kuala Lumpur

Secure your participation in this not to be missed event in 2018

At the last Congress in Paris in 2016, 96% of participants said they would recommend the Congress to a colleague or friend and 85% rated it as “Outstanding” or “Excellent”. Why? Because the Congress is a showcase for discovering and getting inspired by what works today and is being implemented in other parts of the world. It is full of ideas, inspiring stories, great science and incredible people. The Congress is designed to help you and your team innovate, succeed, and stay ahead in a rapidly changing global environment.

Once again, we will running the CEO programme, giving you the opportunity to meet fellow CEOs and organisational leaders from around the world. No matter what your responsibility is as a leader - patient support association, cancer society, research institute, hospital, professional association – you will meet and enjoy the company of people driven by the same passion: to learn how to reduce the cancer burden over time.

We are already putting together an incredible programme. The call for sessions is now over and we have received a record 250 proposals of the highest quality from around the world. We will now pull together a vibrant and compelling three days of knowledge sharing with a mix of interactive sessions, plenaries and discussion forums and we would love you to be at the heart of it all.

As in previous Congresses, we will be introducing new ways for delegates to interact and learn from each other as they listen to a fantastic range of expert speakers. As a leader in the cancer community, we would love you to reach out to your network to encourage them to join others in Kuala Lumpur, so please consider joining us for a week of learning and sharing and bring people with you who would benefit from the Congress. I can assure you that you will leave Kuala Lumpur inspired and with a head full of ideas to take back to your own organisation.

Everyone can participate and be involved.

Be the first to hear about the latest successful interventions across the cancer control continuum

Keynotes and panel discussions are where the inspiration begins. You will hear from fellow experts who will be at the Congress to share knowledge and give insights on best-practice in prevention, diagnosis and treatment, supportive and palliative care. Please stay in touch for the release of the preliminary programme mid-January 2018 and the launch of our series of educational activities.

Discover what is new

Each Congress aims to expand the dialogue around new topical issues. In Kuala Lumpur, we will be featuring activities such as the innovation lab, the abstract hub and a dedicated space for complementary medicines practices – to name but a few.

Increase your expertise

Innovation starts with knowledge and the Congress offers plenty of occasions to learn: attend the numerous interactive sessions within the event agenda, get certified with a Master Course, join the CEO programme, raise the patients’ voice at the Patient Group Pavilion or engage with other organisations in the Global Village - opportunities are around every corner.

As a UICC Member, you are also entitled to a wide range of advantages and exclusive networking events.

Don’t miss the chance to catch up with friends and old colleagues, meet new people and help UICC unite the cancer community for a special Congress in Kuala Lumpur.
